RESOURCES FOR GROWTH
There are a number of organizations that can help you launch or expand your business and our experts would be happy to connect you. Here are just a few of our favorites.
FINANCING
Inclusive Action for the City
This non-profit, community development financial institution (CDFI) helps small business owners in underinvested communities in Los Angeles County and beyond access capital for business development, including renting or building out your kitchen.
AltCap
AltCap is a source of alternative financing for entrepreneurs that fall outside the financial mainstream. Also a certified CDFI, AltCap offers tailored loan programs for both start-ups and existing companies who are tenants of our prep or commercial kitchens.
PROGRAMS
Partake Incubator & Accelerator Program
In partnership with CSULB’s Institute for Innovation & Entrepreneurship, this program will help small businesses in the culinary industry launch and scale through a structured framework for growth, mentorship and resources.
Here Here Market
Introducing the perfect pairing for culinary creators. Here Here is an online marketplace connecting food lovers across the nation with products from talented chefs. If you’re using our hourly kitchens to scale up production, Here Here can help you grow your customer base, too.
Your product may be a good candidate if it is shelf stable for 4+ months, professionally packaged, and labeled with an expiration date. Including nutritional information is highly recommended.
Downtown Long Beach Food Series Incubator
As seen on Univision! Learn how to set up and operate your food business through The Downtown Long Beach Food Series Incubator. Through a partnership between Partake Collective, Feel Good Salsa Kitchen and the Downtown Long Beach Alliance, the incubator offers a series of educational courses and networking opportunities.
Helping Hands Initiative
Through the initiative, Partake offers free kitchen and conference rentals to local 501(c)(3) organizations dedicated to expanding economic opportunity. This partnership enables access for underserved workers to the tools and facilities needed to learn and grow their passions.
